Important Installation Information

For installation in coupe or hardtop only. The installation of this conversion kit requires the use of existing reinforced lap seat belt mounting points plus factory or dealer installed reinforced shoulder harness strap bracket attachment points which would be either a single threaded 7-16x20 bolt hole or a non threaded bolt hole with a factory reinforced 7-16x20 reinmforcing plate with weldnut located on the lower roof or B-pillar between the inner and outer steel bold panels.

These conversion kits do not include reinforcing plates or the hardware to create the reinforced lap belt mounting points or shoulder harness bracket attachment points that are required for the installtion. All of the seat belts and hardware included are new with all seat belts manufactured or assembled in the USA with USA certification tag confirming compliance with current FMVSS(Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209 and 302.

  • MH4 Standard Mounting kit includes zinc chromate bolts, washers, nuts and oversize underbody reinforcing washers.
  • 201K Retrofit Mounting Kit includes zinc chromate bolts, washers plus threaded underbody reinforcing plates to add support to the mounting points which should be used when installing a seat belt in a location they were not previously dealer or factory installed. A standard mounting kit is not required when ordering.
